Wildlife of Jerry Rogers Creek iNaturalist Project

We've setup a project on iNaturalist to get a better understanding of the species that exist within and around the watershed. Hopefully with time, the local community adds to the project!

Due to many unforeseen personal circumstances, we were unable to put in as much effort as we had hoped with the website and community engagement. That said, we now have a fully complete website complete with a .ca domain! We've decided, due to the limitations of our website host, to backtrack on having community discussion section specifically on JerryRogersCreek.ca. Though this doesn't mean there won't be some effort made in the future as our participation grows.
Jerry Rogers Streamkeepers Revitalization

With the help of the City of Burnaby and the Department of Fisheries of Oceans, Jerry Rogers Creek will once again have a streamkeeping group at the helm of its stewardship. Because of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, we will be unable to do actual community activities for the foreseeable future, as such we will focus on cleaning up garbage, reporting spills, raising awareness where possible, monitoring water quality, and working to catalogue the presence of invasive species.
